1. Data Protection at a Glance

General Information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data with which you can be personally identified.

Data collection on this website:
Since this website is purely informational (a "business card" site), no cookies are set and no personal-data tracking tools (like Google Analytics) are used. We do use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated visitor statistics; Cloudflare’s analytics are cookie‑free and do not collect personal data.

2. Hosting and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

Hosting via Cloudflare Pages

We host this website with Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter "Cloudflare").

When you visit our website, your browser establishes a connection to Cloudflare's servers. Technically necessary data (e.g., your IP address) is transmitted to Cloudflare to deliver the website content securely and quickly.

The use of Cloudflare is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable presentation and security of our website against attacks.

Tailwind CSS (via CDN)

We use the "Tailwind" CSS framework via a Content Delivery Network (CDN) to display the website correctly. When the page is accessed, your IP address is transmitted to the CDN operator to load the required script files. Without this retrieval, the website cannot be displayed correctly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Google Fonts

This site uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google for the uniform representation of fonts. When you open a page, your browser loads the required Web Fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. As a result, Google becomes aware that this website was accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.) to measure and analyze website traffic and to improve our services. Cloudflare provides cookie‑free, aggregated statistics and does not collect personal data. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in improving and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). For details, see Cloudflare Web Analytics and Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
